We are a facial plastic surgery specialty practice based in Richmond, Virginia with a consultative office in Fredericksburg.

Dr. Jeff ZuravleffYour treatment begins with a private consultation in our conveniently located West End office. Individual treatment options will be discussed and explained in detail during your consultation. Determination of medical necessity can often be established for insurance coverage at this time. Dr. Zuravleff performs a full range of corrective, reconstructive and cosmetic procedures here in his “state-of-the-art” in-office operating room. Fully-monitored “conscious sedation” anesthesia by an anesthesiologist or certified nurse anesthetist is offered for some surgical procedures. Patients with associated medical conditions or requiring involved surgical and post-surgical care will receive outpatient care at Stony Point Surgery Center or inpatient care at St. Mary’s Hospital, if necessary. Our practice participates in most major insurance plans. Payment plans for aesthetic services are available.

About Dr. Zuravleff:

Dr. Jeffrey Zuravleff is a Board-certified specialist in oculoplastics, orbital and reconstructive surgery. A native of Pennsylvania, he obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine as well as a Master of Science from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Public Health. He served both his residency training in ophthalmology and fellowship in oculoplastic-orbital surgery at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Zuravleff was Board-certified in 1991.

A past Associate Professor at the Medical College of Virginia and attending surgeon at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, Dr. Zuravleff has helped train a generation of surgeons. He has lectured on facial reconstruction and aesthetic topics, both locally and internationally. A former Chief-of-Staff at the Richmond Eye and Ear Hospital and Stony Point Surgical Center, a respected member of state and national medical societies, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Zuravleff has managed the care of thousands of patients with functional and aesthetic issues of the face.
